Our Privacy & Cookie Policy is drafted by TSMC Charity Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "our foundation"). The purpose of this Privacy & Cookie Policy is to inform you of the personal information that we may collect and how we handle the information. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy, please contact us. This policy is applicable to personal information obtained through our foundation website ("Sites"). Our foundation, in the ordinary course of our business, will not seek or collect or otherwise process your sensitive personal data (i.e. personal data related to medical records, healthcare, sexual life, health check-ups, and criminal records). How We Share Your Information
Based on the purposes above, our foundation may need to share personal information collected from our website with "need-to-know" authorized personnel in our foundation or other related enterprises. Our foundation may need to share your personal information to third party service providers (so as to enable them to facilitate certain web services for our foundation, such as web hosting or maintenance). If we engage third-party suppliers to process your personal data, we will sign a contract with them requiring compliance with the following conditions: (1) processing your personal data strictly within the scope of our prior written instructions; and (2) adhering to regulatory requirements to establish mechanisms for ensuring the security and confidentiality of personal information.

Under legal circumstances or applicable law, our foundation reserves the right to share personal information with any third party, including i. to comply with our legal obligations or cooperate with government authorities; ii. to prevent, investigate, detect, or prosecute criminal activities or attacks against our foundation website or network integrity, iii. to protect the rights, properties, and safety of our foundation, website users, and the public.
Profiling
We may process your personal data and make automated decisions based on such analysis, for the purpose of data loss prevention. We will process the content of your communications with any foundation members, with potential uses including the establishment of threat behavior patterns or the analysis of potential threats to our information. Such activities may affect the privacy of your communications with foundation members. We recommend that you refrain from disclosing any sensitive personal data, or information of a highly private or confidential nature, in your communications with foundation members.
International Transfers of Personal Information
Our foundation will ensure the safety of international transfers of your personal information through contracts, internal conduct guidelines, and other security measures. Where we transfer Personal Data from the EEA to a recipient outside the EEA that is not in an Adequate Jurisdiction, we do so on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses.
