Rural Healthcare: TSMC Charity Foundation Donates Shuttle Car to Kinmen Hospital Nursing Home

After having donated a rural mobile clinic to Taoyuan's qualified medical personnel in 2017, the foundation continued tending to the needs in elderly care, traveling around Kinmen and Penghu islands and surveying their far-off medical facilities. During this tour, they discovered Kinmen Hospital's plans to build a nursing home.

The Kinmen Nursing Home will be the county's first A-level community integrated service center, designed to provide the most meticulous care to senior citizens who suffer different forms physical or mental deterioration and finally have their oasis of respite. After negotiations, the TSMC Charity Foundation decided to send out its love in the form of a much-needed shuttle car, which the nursing home needs for transporting its residents. This way, residents spread throughout the county's countryside will be able to benefit from the center's long-term care services.
